Meet Claire Morwood

Claire is a self-taught video game developer, speaker and workshop facilitator with experience across a wide range of digital arts practices including art, music and programming.

She primarily works within interactive digital arts, exploring the ways that interactivity and play can be used as a medium for creative expression and storytelling.

She is also interested in increasing the diversity of voices heard within games.

Claire’s work with 3-Fold Games focuses on collaborating with and telling stories from underrepresented communities, for example in our game Before I Forget we worked with the charity Alzheimer’s UK to develop a game about a woman living with dementia.

She is a member and former director of the digital arts collective Biome Collective, and she co-founded the games studio 3-Fold Games, whose debut game was nominated for a BAFTA in 2020.

Prior to games, her academic background was scientific, studying Geology and Palaeobiology.
